Preparing myself

Hello world!
This is little me finally starting a blog after much consideration. I have always wanted to write -about anything, really- so I am grateful for coming across The Ultimate Yogi. This is a 108 consecutive day yoga fitness program that promises to change your life around. I am totally on board this, because ever since I started taking up yoga, my life has certainly changed. My body has changed. My mind has changed. My attitude has changed. So when I found this 12 DVD pack led by talented Travis Eliot I knew it was time to make the ultimate change and dive completely into one of my life's little obsessions: yoga.
Currently I am waiting for the online group on Facebook to start a new 108 day sequence. It should start shortly. Meanwhile, I am preparing myself; because even though I currently do yoga and pilates and have a healthy diet, this program looks very challenging. The classes are varied, but they are seriously action packed: sweating is gonna be a must. Healthy eating is a must too. So I am getting rid of any tempting foods and reading up on healthier eating. I have also been collecting yummy healthy recipes and have already been to the only *gasp* health store in town to stock up on goods.
I should mention -due to the only health store comment- that I currently live in Valencia, Spain and people here are not too into fitness and healthy eating. It's been hard to find organic produce; but I will try my best to do with what I have. I guess it's all in the attitude, yes?
I created this blog to do a daily entry in the 108 program. I plan on writing every day what's happening and what's going on with my body and my mind. I will also keep a record of the yummy things my wonderful husband will be cooking for me, with pictures and all, so I can hopefully inspire some of you to try and take some time out of your busy life and do something good for yourself.
So, with all this in mind and much more, wish me a happy journey and keep coming back: I will document everything! Plus, I've been told I am one funny quirky person, so stay tuned because I'm sure this is going to be one hell of a ride!

    1. You should totally do it! It is a big commitment since it's 108 straight days of practice and meditation. I am worried about the weekends; but will do my best to make this work. A healthy diet is recommended throughout the program; but it's not fully vegetarian. Only 3 days of it are completely vegetarian, 3 raw and 3 juice cleanse. They do recommend for the rest to avoid processed foods, fat, caffeine, alcohol and such. But it sure looks promising dude! C'mon: it will be fun to be sore together... Ha!

  3. I will be following along. I am totally into the healthy cooking stuff, so I can share on that if you'd like. But I am super anxious to see what 108 days of yoga does for the human spirit. Namaste!
